摘要：
This paper discusses the evaluation of poplar's participation in the preparation of urban planning tools in Algeria, by highlighting its styles, levels, and methods of application. The study is conducted on the most important municipalities of Blida province: Blida, Larbaa, Boufarik, Bougara, el-Affroun in 2016 and 2017. This research raises the most important obstacles to activating participation by proposing a set of recommendations to develop and increase the contribution of citizen participation in the decision making of urban planning and the development of their cities.
