摘要
This paper presents a novel method to minimize the magnetic field generated by underground power cables under balanced load with single-point grounded shields. The minimization is achieved by optimization of the phase arrangement to eliminate the second- and third-order terms of the magnetic field Taylor series. The analysis is verified by computer simulations. This method is applied to the minimization of the magnetic field generated by an underground system at Salt River Project. The practical result is a reduction of the magnetic field of the selected arrangement from 22.6 mG to 0.15 mG. The methodology is technically feasible and financially practical in areas with balanced load.
