摘要
In the context of the information and communication society in which a lifelong learning process is required and the individual assumes an active and autonomous role in the construction of knowledge, informal learning has primary importance over these demands. In this sense the Web 2.0 through its available tools becomes an important asset as it allows the practice of the four skills in the english language: reading, writing, speaking and listening with the ease of being in any place and at any time beyond the provision of it being loaded directly into the browser. It is important to note that using Web 2.0 for the purpose of learning another language requires self-motivation, organization, autonomy and time investment. In order to take advantage of the tools/resources available in Web 2.0 we present this paper which describes some possibilities of learning a foreign language namely English.
