摘要
Maize (Zea mays Ganga‐5, hybrid variety) was used as a substrate for ethanol production by batch fermentation using Zymomonas mobilis. 20% solids concentration, 72 h of duration, pH 5.5 and 30°C were found most effective in yielding maximum alcohol and proved optimum for highest fermentation efficiency.
