摘要：
Pressure ulcer is a serious health problem that can lead physical and psychological trauma for patients, longer hospital stay, and slower recovery. Pressure, shearing forces, friction and moisture are critical factors contributing to the development of pressure ulcers. In lying or sitting postures; they usually occur over superficial bony prominences that underlying body weight. Nurses have very important role in the prevention and care of pressure ulcers and this role begins primarily with complete assessment of patients at risk for pressure ulcers. In this article, prevention and care of pressure ulcers is examined with nursing process approach.
