摘要:
By calculating equiprobable (or "tolerance") ellipses, it is possible to display the variability of profile points, defined by their S-N coordinates, in the three types of Class II malocclusions. In addition to allowing a direct comparison of these dispersions, discriminant function quantifies precisely and displays visually any changes observed during treatment. The method used to situate any point on an individual relative to a reference group is described.
