摘要
The land for the peasant families is seen as a way of living and workingaez a place of exchange and of use of inherited knowledge. But, the peasant (re)territorialization does not occur on a linear and structured way. Every settlement, property, community, has their particularities. Such discussion origined the current article, which analyzes the perception of nature by the peasants from Santa Rita (municipality of Jatai-GO) and Tres Pontes (municipality of Perolandia-GO) settlements, from the productive organization of both. This way, some methodologic procedures were necessary, such: as bibliographic research, in order to provide theoretical basis; qualitative and quantitative data collection, through participative observations and semistructured interviews with thirty percent of the families from each settlement aforementioned; as well as the creation of mental maps, together with the pesants. It was found that the realities between the settlements differ from each other in the sense of food autonomy and sovereignty, considering that Santa Rita settlement is in a more favorable situation, as they keep a diversity of production and use their land on a more sustainable way.
