Professor Liu reports the results of a field study and questionnaire designed to determine the current depth and breadth of the holdings of the legal materials of the United States in the People's Republic of China (PRC), as well as the current system used to acquire and disseminate such material. He recommends an outline of development for a future system of American legal information in the PRC.
