CHINA'S STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The article aims at defining the methods applied by China to realize the notion of sustainable development by combining economic and social development with issues related to environmental protection. The communist party fully recognized the problem of environmental pollution and commenced actions to solve the problem. China works out its own solutions mechanism for environmental protection adjusted to domestic conditions. Promotion of renewable energy sources has become a part of the entire development process of the state. These activities can serve both to reduce the scale of environmental pollution and improve China's negotiating position in the international arena with regard to climate issues.
