摘要：
The article focuses on the analysis of Bernard Mandeville's religious views on the basis of his treatise "Free thoughts on religion, the church and national happiness" (1729). The author compares its content with French moralists' ideas and concludes that the treatise's principal points contain the following ones: an idea of mutual independence of moral and religion; freedom of conscience justification and a point of atheism's malignancy.
