摘要：

Stress is a syndrome involving extra physical or psychological demand, causing a state that may have physiological, cognitive and motor manifestations. This study's aim was to identify the perception of stress in health area students of the Universidad del Pacifico Privada and its manifestations in physiological, cognitive and motor dimensions. A trans study, in which the SISCO Inventory Questionnaire of Academic Stress to 359 students with an average age of 20.29 years (SD=2.31) was applied was made. More of half students (57.38%) reported having a high level of stress, thereby obtaining a higher prevalence of stress in women than men (chi(2)= 6.67, df= 2, p= 0.036). Students with high perceived stress may have a change in academic performance, and that could increase the reactions that trigger stress.
