GERTRUDIS GOMEZ DE AVELLANEDA: A TALE OF HERNAN CORTES

This learning consists of a comparative analysis between the "Epilogo" from Guatimozin, one of the books written by Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda, the XIXth century Cuban writer, during her youth, and the "Relato sobre Hernan Cortes", drew up on the last period of her life. Likewise, it is carefully highlighted the ideological development of the mentioned author, who modifies her approach about the Mexican conquer personality and human attitudes in a substantial way, at the same time as the narrative and dramatic variations (which have been restructured from its original disposition in the "Epilogo") are studied.
