摘要
This work describes the development and assessment of an instrument for evaluating guidance and information needs of university students. A questionnaire that included different aspects about university information and orientation in three levels was designed: subjects courses, university degree and Faculty and finally University. It was applied to first and second graders of Universidad de La Laguna. The suitability of the instrument was analysed using validity of content, reliability, underlying structure and predictive capability. Thirteen dimensions, some of which were sensitive to the prediction of students' motivation for their career and their satisfaction level with it. Finally, we detected significant differences in several dimensions according to the student's individual circumstances regarding access to studies and anticipation of abandonment.
