摘要：
The title compound, [Cu(C20H20N2O2)], crystallizes with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. In each molecule, the Cu II atom occupies the tetradentate N2O2 cavity of the salen-type Schiff base ligand, adopting a distorted square-planar geometry with r. m. s. deviations of the coordinating atoms of 0.0522 (2) and 0.1128 (4) angstrom. No hydrogen bonds or pi-pi stacking interaction are observed.
