摘要
Based on the analysis of the strength reduction FEM and the finite element iteration method, according to the virtues of two methods, a mixed finite element method for slope stability analysis is proposed, which unites the strength reduction FEM and the finite element iteration method together for slope stability analysis. Firstly, the strength reduction FEM is used to find the position of the possible slip surface, and then, the found slip surface is established in the calculational model; lastly, the stability safety factor of the surface is obtained by the finite element iteration method. The validity and accuracy of the proposed procedure is demonstrated by a numerical example and an engineering practical example.
