摘要
Steady-state boiling in a horizontal porous layer is studied. The lower face is impervious and heated with a constant heat flux whereas the upper face is saturated with a fluid (water) and cooled at constant temperature. In comparison with the previously published studies and in order to simulate more realistic conditions, the influence of the conductive heat transfer in the two-phase region, of lateral heat losses and of the taking into account of non-condensing gases (air) inside the medium are successively examined.
