The twisted waveguide of right isosceles triangular cross-section, is used to analyze the propagation of dominant TE1.0 mode. The helical coordinate system is used for the mathematical formulation of problem while the perturbation technique is used in obtaining the solution. The variation of the wavelength of the twisted waveguide is studied by varying twist angle as well as the dimension of the equal sides of the isosceles triangular section. The variations are plotted graphically. Comparison with the corresponding square waveguide propagation is also made.
