Bullying among adolescents in urban and rural areas in the Colombian Caribbean

摘要：
The objective of this investigation was to identify the bullying behaviors between equals on students inside an urban area and students in a rural area, as well as the relation of these behaviors with the gender. 200 students were analyzed through a correlation study, where the Cisneros Auto test was applied and data was analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson Chi Square calculation. The prevalence of bullying was 75.6%, verbal aggression and social exclusion predominated. All of the bullying behaviors were associated with the gender and only Robberyshowed a significant concordance with the geographic zone.
