THE REFLECTIONS OF THE LOCATION, THE FICTION OF THE POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS INTO THE QURANIC TRANSLATIONS -The Example of al-Baqarah, 36-

The pronouns which are used for nouns have an important place in Arabic language as well as in other languages. Especially in this language the pronoun gaib whic is the third person singular pronoun is very important. Because apart from the other pronouns it is not definite for whom you are using. The word which the pronoun gaib refers to signifies its location. To decide the exact location of the pronouns in the Quran, especially in the first years of Islam, was not a very big problem. However, in the coming years, different views among the interpreters and linguists were emerged about the location of the possessive pronouns. These different views have influenced their Quranic interpretations and have lad to be given different explanations to the verses. In this study, we will examine the location and the determination of the possessive pronouns in the arabic language and its reflections to the Quranic translations. At first, we will begin with the general information about the possessive pronouns and its location. Afterwards the ideas of the Quran interpreters will be analyzed for the determination of the location of a possessive pronoun in a Quranic verse. Eventually, the reflection of the problem stating the location of a possesive pronoun in a Quranic verse will be explained. Our study is based on the verse of 36 from al-Bakarah.
