摘要
Mustafa Kemal University Tayfur Ata Sokmen Campus has a town structure with its size, number of employees and students as well as largest university hospital in the region. Urban applications and projections have also been required for university. Thus, developing campus information systems will provide substantial contribution to this planning and management system. Data analysis and query facility has been created using attribute information in addition to digital information on infrastructure, buildings, roads, topography and land use of the campus. Worldview 2014 (50 cm resolution) satellite sensor data will be used as a base map and its classification revealed current land use pattern. This study aims to develop information systems for future and current planning of Mustafa Kemal University by integrating spatial information within a GIS environment. The aim of the study was creation a geographic information system of Mustafa Kemal University Tayfur Ata Sokmen Campus to would be used in future planning. So there are two key objectives for this purpose; (1) to develop a maximum likelihood classification scheme for mapping land use/ land cover classes using high resolution satellite images, (2) to estimate the accuracy of the used method. The classification accuracy was assessed using 146 pixels were stratified randomly distributed throughout the study area and independent of training sites used by the supervised classification algorithm. The results show that overall classification accuracies is 93.84% and overall kappa statistics is 0.9210.
