摘要
When a 50 Hz alternating potential difference is applied between a thin heated platinum wire and a coaxial slotted cylinder placed in a channel in which a weak electrolyte is flowing, the heat transfer rates are enhanced due to electrolytic bubble evolution at the heated surface. The enhancement of heat transfer rates depends on the flow velocity and the excess of temperature of the heated surface above that of surrounding electrolyte.
