摘要：
This paper about Arabic loans in Brazilian Portuguese aims to identify local uses of the Iberian heritage, registered as diasystemic information in the Lexico Portugues de Origem Arabe (VARGENS, 2007). It analyses the Arabisms structure as well as the parts of speech and semantic fields they belong to.
