ISOLATION, SEPARATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF OXYGEN DERIVATIVES OF POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC-HYDROCARBONS FROM ATMOSPHERIC PARTICULATE MATTER

摘要
Adsorption column chromatography on silica gel for separation of two moderately polar fractions has been used. These fractions were eluated with 25 % solution of dichloromethane in n-hexane and dichloromethane. The heterocompounds concentrates obtained by liquid-liquid partition chromatography of cyclohexane extract from atmospheric particulate matter has been separated. Basing on UV-Vis, IR and TLC results it was found out that first of all the fractions consist of oxygen derivatives of PAHs such as aromatic ketones and phenols and nitrogen compounds such as derivatives of carbazole, acridine and quinoline.
