摘要
Objective: In this pilot study, we aimed to pilot test the psychometric properties of a collection of existing instruments reframed to fit within the Behavioral Ecological Model. Factors influencing the uptake of personal climate change mitigation and adaptation behavior (MAB) were measured. Methods: Students from a midwestern university (N = 509) participated in the study. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using partial least squares (PLS) estimation was conducted. Results: Results showed that the instrument exhibited satisfactory construct validity, as well as internal consistency reliability. The approximate model fit for the measurement model was acceptable, SRMR = 0.049. Conclusions: This instrument could be used by student health staff as a MAB needs assessment tool and guide for the subsequent development of MAB health education programs for college students.
