Russia and Asia-Pacific Region: perspectives of cooperation

The fact that most of the countries of APR successfully overcome world financial crisis proofs the prognosis of experts that this region becomes a locomotive of world's development. So this region must be main partner for Russia. At present Russia develops its cooperation with some of regional's organization like APEC or ASEAN, but from this moment Russia have to pay its attention to some new initiatives of forming more close cooperation in East Asia, for example, Japan's initiative of East Asia community, and to the process of forming zones of common trade and common currency in East Asia.
