摘要
The present study is scoped to reflect upon the end of metaphysics, relying on reflection that Heidegger undertakes about the nihilism of Nietzsche and the sentence " God is dead". " God is dead" means the devaluation of all supreme values. It's nihilism; the metaphysics itself: the forgetting of being. For Heidegger, Nietzsche is the thinker who conceives the " death of God" as the internal logic of metaphysics. Nevertheless, it remains within the metaphysic processes. The thought of Nietzsche, despite his efforts, is an inverted Platonism. Thus, metaphysics from Plato to Nietzsche is marked by forgetfulness of being.
