On the basis of numerical investigation of light scattering by a polydisperse system of condensed-phase particles, the sources of error in determining the radiational properties are determined. Reduction in order of the Bessel functions of complex arguments proves effective. The influence of choice of the integration step on the accuracy of calculating integral quantities is also investigated.
