摘要
Adiabatic compressibilities of various polymer solutions have been evaluated from ultrasonic velocity and density measurements. The solvation numbers of the polymers, having the same repeat unit but different molecular weights, have been evaluated by using the Passynsky equation. It was observed that the solvation number was independent of molecular weight if there was weak interaction between solvent and polymer but it was dependent on molecular weight when there was appreciable polymer-solvent interaction. © 1990.
