摘要：

The objective of this research was to investigate the importance of digital technologies in the teaching-learning process of students in the 5th year of primary education in a private school in Palmas. The search for bibliographic concepts in articles and journals, and several literatures was relevant and, also, it was necessary to search under a qualitative approach, a field research to understand the teacher's role in encouraging and development for the use of ICT and investigate whether the teacher uses ICT as a teaching resource in their teaching. The results were relevant and can help reflect the pedagogical practice of teachers, influencing to a significant learning in children and adolescents today, and understand that technology is already present in the school environment and that the institutions should have a look for the wide use of technology, that every day is more present in people's lives. And these features came to facilitate the teaching-learning process.
