摘要
To interpret the microstructure of ferro-silicon alloys at 65 wt% containing variable amounts of alloying elements such as aluminium and calcium, the solidification sequence of these alloys was studied by calculating the ternary (Al,Fe,Si) and (Ca,Fe,Si) phase diagrams, and also by analyzing the evolution of the phase volume fraction in relation with the nature and the amount of the alloying element.
