摘要：

In the present article we transcribe and explain a document that is part of a vital viceregal documental corpus of the valley of Teotihuacan, Mexico. It is the will of a mayor of Santa Maria Maquixco, used as a reference for a dispute. The study the original peoples over the colonial era has been deemed secondary, as it is usually believed that they were fully dominated and had few rights before Spanish authorities. The analysis of documents such as the one presented here contributes to disprove this vision.
