摘要
In this study, it was aimed to elicit leadership approaches of school principals to whom new primary education program was applied. A 59-item questionnaire was developed to achieve this aim. Population are composed of 2100 primary school teachers and teachers with specific major working in primary schools in nine cities where Ministry of National Education made a pilot application in 2004-2005 academic year. According to findings of the study, primary school teachers state "usually" in the questionnaire for the democratic and transformational leadership qualities of the managers. Branch and school graduate of teachers do not affect their ideas on leadership behavior of primary school principals.
