摘要
The diffusion of hydrogen in binary transition metal glasses has been studied by nuclear magnetic relaxation, neutron scattering and muon spin rotation. In each case the measured quantities depend on a time-dependent correlation function of the random fluctuations of the atomic positions or local magnetic fields. Appropriate correlation functions can be derived by computer simulation and particular attention is paid to a computer model based on a distribution of diffusion jump rates. The extent to which this model may account for the results of the relaxation and neutron scattering experiments is discussed.
