Provisional Measures for Intellectual Property Protection Civil Procedures

The present article analyzes the jurisdictional legal authority given civil judges by the laws to provide a temporary solution to the pretensions of the parts by means of provisional measures, directed to solve provisionally a lawsuit, while the final verdict in the judgment is achieved initiated or by begin for the presumed violation of a intellectual property right legitimately acquired. In such sense, the dispositions of the Trade related Intellectual Property Aspects (TRIPS) that order to the members of the World Trade Organization prevent in their laws the possibility that the judges can dictate preventive measures are revised and the study extends to the Venezuelan law.
