A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS SYNTOMIUM (COLEOPTERA, STAPHYLINIDAE, OXYTELINAE) FROM THE NORTH-EAST OF ASIA

摘要：
Syntomium marusiki sp. n. from the Magadan region is described. The new species is extremely similar externally in all respects to S. aeneum (Mueller), but the two species are quite distinguishable in structure of the aedeagus. S. marusiki sp. n. also differs from S. aeneum by longer elytra and broader epipleuron, pronotum without the nonpunctated area along the midline and by less developed dentation laterally. The habitus, labrum, and maxillary palpus of S. marusiki sp. n. as well as aedeagi of both species are illustrated.
