摘要
A model of the imaging process in radiography with solid state nuclear track detectors was employed to investigate the role of the optical properties of tracks in thick detectors on the space-dependent transfer function. Important phenomena affecting the observation and the evaluation of the image were found and explained. Among these are asymmetry of the transfer function, displacement of the transition region, and the appearance of a reversed image.
