摘要：
A detailed theoretical analysis and experimental results are given for the noise due to the frequency-converted integral thermal radiation in a proustite crystal pumped by a ruby laser and adjusted for noncritical phase matching with a 10. 6- mu m signal. Noise dependence on temperature is shown.
