Research methodologies and intervention in applied linguistics: the contribution of the French speaking tradition in ergonomics

摘要
In this article, I draw on the main methodologies used within some areas of research on techno-pedagogical tools for language learning. I focus my discussion on qualitative research methodologies including that of fieldwork. Then, I report the main issues raised by these research. Finally, I discuss the case of a ethnographic research I made during my Ph.D involving a methodology for a joint research between participant observation and ergonomic approach.
