UNDERSTANDING AND INTERPRETING SOCIOCULTURAL EXPERIENCE IN THE CONTEXT OF POST-NONCLASSICAL PSYCHOLOGY

The processes of understanding and interpretation of socio-cultural experience within post-non-classic approach, which construes personality as a cultural object being formed through the processes of self-creation and self-determination. The main trends in the non-classic transformation of psychology have been described; peculiarities of socio-cultural experience appropriation in the process of interaction with texts of culture highlighted. The evidence is given that understanding and interpretation of socio-cultural experience encourage formation of personality as a discoursing subject, thus providing one pre-requisite for personal growth (development).
