摘要
The interaction between the field reflected by a surface and an object placed near this surface is studied. In the present analysis, the surface is assumed to be a perfectly conducting grating, and the object is considered to be a cylinder whose axis is parallel to the grating grooves, its conductivity also being infinite. Exact numerical calculations of near fields and far fields are performed by means of the extinction theorem boundary condition. In order to assess the perturbation produced by the cylinder on the field reflected by the grating, these results are compared with those of situations in which there is no cylinder.
