摘要
In the context of a general study of the nonlinear optical properties of glasses, the conditions of introduction of TiO2 in glasses of the 0.95 NaPO3 - 0.05 Na(2)B(4)0(7) system is reported. Such glasses can contain up to 42.2 mole % TiO2. The magnitude of the nonlinear indices n(2) of these materials is higher than those previously reported for sodium titanium phosphates or silicate glasses.
