CONSUMER SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL-EFFECTS OF THERAPEUTIC PRODUCTS ON AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS USING NICLOSAMIDE AS AN EXAMPLE

摘要：
Therapeutic products for fish are a special group of substances with respect to their registration by governmental authorities. Only one product has been licenced in Germany. From 1993, all products so far used will be prohibited if they have not been re-authorized by this time. New EEC Directives will impose additional tests on parts of ecological systems with the aim of preventing harmful environmental effects. These aspects have been considered in the present investigation on niclosamide, a widely used antiparasitic and molluscicide product.
