Acoustic and volumetric investigations of the water-morpholine system were carried out within the total concentration range and within the temperature limits 293,15-307.50 K. The formation of a liquid structure in dilute solutions (x less-than-or-equal-to 0.056) resembling that of the solid clathrate II was confirmed. In solutions of higher concentration (x greater-than-or-equal-to 0.18), hydrophilic hydration is probably predominant.
