摘要：
The authors describe a sound-velocity meter in which the frequency of a variable oscillator is adjusted so that the time interval between two successively received acoustic-echo signals becomes a multiple of the oscillation period of the variable oscillator. The deviation from conversion linearity scaled to sound velocity is not over +/- 6 cm/sec.
