摘要
In the course of this article we present an investigation on one of the oldest and least known not formal education institutions of our country: the people's universities. In this research, undertaken at the national level through three questionnaires, developed and validated for this purpose, are characterised to three essential components that give life to this institution: managers, monitors and participants. The questionnaires were randomly distributed among the entire population and the data was analysed by two non-parametric statisticians. Of the most important conclusions include the ability of the popular universities to offer a training offer channelled through directors and monitors, capable of responding to the needs demanded by participants showing a high degree of satisfaction.
