摘要
By analyzing a well-known essay by Paul Ricoeur, the article attempts to outline the components of a correlation between hope and imagination. This correlation can only occur after a double reduction : of the entire power of narrative imagination and of the vast field of hope as in the act of the "hope of resurrection". By means of Ricoeur's text, the author explores the patterns of a relationship between "in spite of and much more" and "productive and reproductive imagination". The study allows us to recognize the "power of the possible" at the heart of our human experience of hope. Hoping for what we can only imagine, the dialectic between the form and content of hope is revealed in its transcendental function : it is what we hope for that makes it possible for us to hope.
