A new technique of absorption spectroelectrochemistry at grazing incidence in combination with piezoelectric quartz crystal (PQC) detection is proposed. As an example, it has been used to investigate the electrochemical process of Cu(II) in NH3 . H2O-NH4Cl supporting electrolyte. The results show that this technique provides a powerful tool for the investigation of the electrochemical process.
