RELATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL CONFIGURATION LANDSCAPE-PAINTER THE URBAN ARBORIZATION OF THE CITY OF CRUZEIRO DO IGUACU-PR

The urban arborization is essential to improve the quality of life of the population that lives in the cities. To the long one of the streets, the trees alleviate the noises, filter air, diminish the speed of the wind, supply shade to the pedestrians and car, improve the microclimate, leave the pleasant city prettiest and, beyond the economic, social and environmental benefits that they provide. So that the arborization is successful, the knowledge of the species is necessary that will be implanted. The present research objectified to generate a proposal of urban arborization for the city of Cruzeiro do Iguacu-PR. The results had demonstrated that the arborization of streets of the area in study has irregular distribution, little amount, low quality and that the characteristics of the city are favorable to the implantation of the planned arborization. Being thus, it was elaborated an arborization proposal, where fifteen species of trees with potentialities for use in the city had been selected.
