摘要
In recent years, particular CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tools/languages called application builders have enabled a major part of programming processes in software development to be automated. This paper discusses approaches to simplifying specifications given to application builders which are based on concepts and terms of the business application domain. The authors proposed a domain-oriented specification language called ''kusanagi'' using knowledge of the business application domain. Description of kusanagi is more simple and more exact than other ''domain-generic'' languages, because common constraints of the domain are contained by ''domain-specific'' terms, and using these terms, it is necessary to describe only the features of the system as compared with the domain model. Finally, this paper reports that productivity has been largely improved by kusanagi in real software developments.
