摘要：
The history, clinical signs, treatment and post-treatment performance of 38 cases of chip fractures occurring on the dorsal aspect of the carpus of greyhounds are described. Surgical intervention resulted in a 70% return to satisfactory racing, whereas medical treatment resulted in a poorer percentage return to racing. The biomechanics and pathophysiology of these injuries, together with the advantages of surgical intervention versus conservative treatment, are discussed.
